pd is multimedia framework where user can create media processing scheme out of various blocks/controls/links
pd is most suitable for sound processing/synthesis, but with additional libraries you can create visuals as well
i suggest media-sound/pd

i also wrote another ebuild, for 0.35-test24 version of pd (they incorporated my
previous patch but added new bugs, so there's a new patch again). i suggest add
this new ebuild but mask it by default.

pd-0.35_pre24.ebuild

Miller uses -test24 version suffix that is incompatible with gentoo. i decided
to use _pre24 instead, in the ebuild i used sed to convert _pre back to -test,
so it's easy to jump to the next test versions.
