Description Aaron Bohannon 2003-09-28 21:22:03 UTC
Using the down or up arrow keys to change the highlighted item in any drop-down
box in mozilla causes the highlighted item to move _two_ steps forward or
backward instead of one.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I am using the binary ebuild package of mozilla 1.4 that is distributed with the
current LiveCD set on disc 2. I do not know if this bug pertains to any other
versions or builds of mozilla. My gentoo system is almost entirely from the
LiveCD set (using stage 3 tarball), essentially GRP, so I believe this should be
easily reproducible.

Clarifications:

The bug pertains to the user interface of mozilla, e.g. the preferences/settings
windows, not to the drop-down boxes in web page forms. It affects the user
interface of all components: browser, mail-news, etc.

The version of the LiveCD set used is the one for the Pentium 4.

Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately this is outside of the scope of what we do as a distribution. If you still experience this on newer versions, you might consider reporting to the mozilla developers at bugzilla.mozilla.org
