I couldn't find a good new HOMEPAGE for it, because it also seems to be outdated. The best I could find is the Debian page http://packages.debian.org/sid/libxcrypt1 which allows to download the sources.

libxcrypt is needed for sys-auth/tcb, it would be nice to keep it in portage.
