Description Pankaj Chauhan 2009-12-26 05:10:37 UTC
Hello

I've experienced this kernel panic on sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.31-r6.
This has happened for the first time on a new system I've built, so not sure if it is reproducible.

Here're the lines from /var/log/messages...

Uname -a says:

Linux vaidehi 2.6.31-gentoo-r6 #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Dec 14 14:44:05 PST 2009 i686 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

I'll attach the kernel config in a moment.

When the crash happened, I wasn't at the computer, but the mythbackend was recording two programs at the same time, with different tuners. If details about the mythbackend, tuners, etc. are needed, I can add those too.

Please let me know if there is any thing else I can furnish.

Let us know if this reoccurs and we'll try to put some more time into determining the cause
