When trying to emerge uShare with the nls use flag enabled, the error "Unknown Option --enable-nls" appears during the packages ./configure stage. Looking through the ./configure --help output from the uncompressed source that portage left behind, it appears nls is on by default, and should be explicitly disabled rather than enabled. ./configure --help output: Standard options: --help print this message --log[=FILE|yes|no] log tests and output to FILE [config.log] --prefix=PREFIX install in PREFIX [/usr/local] --bindir=DIR install binaries in DIR [PREFIX/bin] --sysconfdir=DIR configuration files DIR [PREFIX/etc] --localedir=DIR use locales from DIR [PREFIX/share/locale] Extended options: --enable-dlna enable DLNA support through libldna --disable-dlna disable DLNA support --disable-nls do not use Native Language Support Search paths: --with-libupnp-dir=DIR check for libupnp installed in DIR --with-libdlna-dir=DIR check for libdlna installed in DIR Advanced options (experts only): --enable-debug enable debugging symbols --disable-debug disable debugging symbols --disable-strip disable stripping of executables at installation --disable-optimize disable compiler optimization --cross-prefix=PREFIX use PREFIX for compilation tools [] --cross-compile assume a cross-compiler is used The ebuild has this for ./configure input: src_compile() { local myconf # Configure need some tips myconf="--prefix=/usr \ $(use_enable dlna ) \ $(use_enable nls ) \ --disable-strip" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt to emerge ushare with the nls use flag by typing in "emerge ushare -av" Actual Results: The ./configure script balks at the input from the portage system and the package fails to emerge. I should have also noted, this package compiles and installs just fine without the nls use flag.
Confirmed, have the same issue, builds fine without NLS
fixed, sorry. thanks for reporting.
