Emerge alsa-driver-0.9.7 fails.
On a Dual P3 box, so I tried MAKEOPTS="-j2" and "-j1" with the same results.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u alsa-driver
2.

Actual Results:

You need to enable CONFIG_SOUND in the kernel configuration (Sound->Sound
card support).
