Retriever is a cross-platform download manager created using Java. Retriever supports HTTP, FTP, BitTorrent and Metalink transfers. You can use the IECapture utility to automatically intercept downloads from Internet Explorer, OperaCapture to get downloads from Opera or FlashGot to intercept downloads from Firefox. Retriever will automatically capture download links copied to the clipboard using your web browser's "Copy Link" or "Copy Shortcut" function. You can also drag and drop links onto the download list to capture them. If a selection of text is dropped, it will be parsed for links, you can use this behaviour to add multiple files at once.
