Description Matt Michalowski 2009-12-23 00:00:10 UTC
Openbox version 3.4.9 has been released. It fixes a few things, most notably multiple desktops work again with the Openbox/GNOME session when using a recent version of GDM.

I have also attached a patch that will restore menus with Openbox/GNOME sessionn when using gnome-menus >= 2.26.2 (A fix for bug #291965)

Reproducible: Always

As stated in the Gnome Configuration howto [1]:

"Starting with gnome-base/gnome-session-2.26.2, you will need to prepend the XDG_MENU_PREFIX variable to get the Gnome menus if you're using the ~/.xinitrc method to start your desktop."

What is wrong with setting up the variable in your ~/.xinitrc file?
Also, the patch will bring problems to kde users.

Committed and patch added. The patch does not affect kde users as it only patches openbox-gnome-session.
