while trying to install php-5.2.11-r1 the threads flag is needed ,but when I try to compile php-qt-0.9 I get an error msg that it does not need threads, tried using USE="-threads" nogo & if I try to recompile php with the threads flag removed from make.conf the system refuses stating the above.
Geoff, please stop treating the bugs you report as having the ultimate Severity - what's important or critical to you will probably not be that severe a bug to anyone else, and setting it thusly will only serve to aggravate the people that process the bug reports. Beside that, the Summary is not proper English - apart from that you should attach the build log and post your `emerge --info =dev-lang/php-5.2.11-r1' in a comment.
