Thanks for the report!

Does it crash with firefox also (and did older versions of flash work)? If yes, it's probably bug #296762 (i.e bug in flash)
Comment 2 glenn burns 2009-12-15 14:01:40 UTC
i'm not sure if it works with firefox, firefox is crashing on start up (with or with out plugins) at the moment. flash was working well prior to this version of chromium. it works with the current version of opera. the adobe-flash bug link you provided is a different version of adobe-flash, so i created a different report.
Comment 3 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2009-12-15 14:23:05 UTC
Oops, indeed! This versions works for me on ~x86, do you use pulseaudio or another sound output than alsa? (just looking for possible causes)
Comment 4 glenn burns 2009-12-15 18:37:54 UTC
no pulseaudio, afaik, just alsa

fyi, i'm currently troubleshooting (unrelated, i think) issues with firefox and icecat. i tried using the debug keyword with xulrunner, but i think it gave me more/different issues.

flash videos seem to cause the plugin to fail, ie. flash apps seem ok until i try a flash video, then they fail too. weird, since i thought that each tab is isolated from the other in chromium.

thanks for your time.

while troubleshooting a firefox/icecat problem. i changed my CFLAGS from -O3 to -O2 and did a emerge -eva system. this seems to have fixed the flash issues.

Glad you solved it out! I'll note that somewhere if other people get this problem
