() i tried icecat and ran into the similar (if not the same) problem.
removed keyword debug, jemalloc error now gone. changed CFLAG to O2, same results. downgraded xulrunner to v1.9.0.14 and mozilla-firefox to v3.0.14 same result... probably not a xulrunner or firefox issue at this point. i've seen other bugs similar to this, but i hesitate to mark it as duplicate. the other bugs indicate that re-emerging xulrunner and firefox fixed the issues, no such luck here. -=glenn=-
after numerous attempts at different versions of firefox and and icecat and xulrunner, i decided to do and emerge -eva system with the CFLAG set to a more conservative -O2 setting. firefox-bin now works firefox now also works icecat now works
