When I try to create a table in mysqlcc it reports back that it is unable to load syntax file. I went thought the configs, and it defaults to userdir/syntax.txt but gentoo puts the file in /usr/share/mysql/syntax.txt Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge mysqlcc 2. run mysqlcc 3. create database 4. try and create a table Actual Results: The create table window comes up and says it can't find required file, and it won't let you create the tables. Expected Results: Opened up and let my start entring table data. I changed the syntax.txt setting in the options menu from $userdir/syntax.txt to /usr/share/mysqlcc/syntax.txt and everything starts working.
Same thing happens under Options->General for : /usr/share/mysqlcc/translations/ /usr/share/mysqlcc/error.wav /usr/share/mysqlcc/warning.wav
damn old bug, no one likes mysqlcc -is this a problem with the 0.9.4 ebuild, too? There are a few bugs pending regarding mysqlcc, but if they can not be easily solved and there are not too much dependencies, it _may_ be removed, since >Development of MySQLGUI has been suspended. Our current development efforts are >directed towards the development of MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query Browser. *from: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/other/mysqlcc.html

Excuse me mysql team, but I close this bug, since you're not reachable and the metadata file says it's kde-other stuff. bug 60745 for reference
