A major new version of flvstreamer was released today [Sat 14 Nov 2009]. It is a re-fork of rtmpdump-1.9. All the changes from flvstreamer were merged into rtmpdump + loads of improvements and fixes were added by the rtmpdump maintainers. 

Notable features and fixes are as follows: 
- Better support for FMS 3.5.x servers 
- SOCKS4 proxy support 
- Auto-restart of timed-out streams 
- Auto-unpause support for buffer-limited streams 
- Rewritten byteswapping, now works on all platforms 
- support functions rewritten in C to avoid g++ compiler bugs on ARM
