Possible simplification of the rc file. I thought this might be useful as both pid files are referenced in several places.
Comment 2 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2009-12-14 17:31:17 UTC
Yes, definitly better than copying the path in 3 different places ;)

Comment 3 Andreas Westin 2009-12-14 21:12:00 UTC
There is a typo in /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd, "ftpd_pidfile" is mispellt.

Damn, you're right. This happens when I submit patches from work but didn't look carefully enough to attach the correct patch *sigh*
My apologize for the inconvenience.

net-ftp folks, please apply this small patch to pure-ftpd.rc7
Comment 5 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-14 21:50:54 UTC
Reopening for above reason...
Comment 6 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2009-12-14 22:09:55 UTC
And that's also what happens when testing on one box and committing on another! Bumped to 1.0.27-r1 so the few who got the wrong version get the update
