Entering to this page http://www.campusfrance.org/fr/d-catalogue/lm/master.htm I get an "The following plug-in has crashed: /usr/lib64/chromium-browser/plugins/libflashplayer.so" in chromium. Firefox doesn't even show that, firefox directly crash. Konqueror shows the "crash reporting assistant" without any useful data, just "segmentation fault" of nspluginviewer. Works for me with adobe-flash-10.0.42.34 and icecat-3.5.5. Any usable backtraces ?
> Works for me with adobe-flash-10.0.42.34 and icecat-3.5.5. I am using the amd64 adobe-flash (10.0.42.34 is masked by keyword ~amd64) and icecat is masked also by keyword ~amd64 > Any usable backtraces ? No, sorry. I tested it with firefox again and it works! It seems they changed something in the page, however Konqueror and Chromium still crash (konqueror shows the kde crash handler and chromium a message saying it crashed). The URL has been changed, now it is http://www.campusfrance.org/fria0910/lm/master.html Just in case they change it again, the idea is to go to http://www.campusfrance.org, then click on "rechercher" under "trouvez vottre formation" and then "Master". I guess it is a problem with a poorly programmed flash, and flash player crashing cannot be solved by the gentoo developers because it is closed source, so, shall we close this bug?
(In reply to comment #2) > I guess it is a problem with a poorly programmed flash, and flash player > crashing cannot be solved by the gentoo developers because it is closed source, > so, shall we close this bug? Yes. I would recommend trying the latest version (now 10.0.45.2), and if it persists, report it to Adobe directly since they are the only people who can fix it: https://bugs.adobe.com/flashplayer/
