The overlay provides snapshot .050. The latest snapshot available from enlightenment.org is .063. Please update the overlay.
Thanks for providing the enlightenment overlay for e17. I used it on my system to successfully install the .050 snapshot. However, I realized that this snapshot is about a year old, and therefore proceeded to add .ebuild files for the latest, .063, snapshot to the overlay. For the most part these are simply based on the existing .050 snapshot ebuilds but with the snapshot date updated. eet needed a bit more because it is is now available only from a releases/ directory on download.enlightenment.org, and depends on eina. The window manager itself has updated dependencies. That was pretty much all what was necessary to install .063. Would you be interested in the .063 ebuilds in order to update the overlay ?

Created attachment 213106 [details] set of .063 snapshot ebuilds Here is a set of ebuilds in a tar archive which can be added to the existing overlay after it was installed: $ cd /usr/local/portage/layman $ tar xzvf enlightenment_063_addon.tar.gz $ emerge =x11-wm/enlightenment-0.16.999.063 This works for me. One issue is that eet-1.2.3 depends now on eina but eina is unstable whereas is eet is stable. So eet could be made unstable as well. Perhaps somebody fiinds that useful, Andreas
I'm sorry to see you have repeated my job. I've already sent my ebuilds to the enlightenment team, done some QA. Since ebuilds are still not in the overlay, I've uploaded them to my overlay temporary: http://gentoo.o0o.nu/portage/x11-wm/enlightenment/ The changelog from previous snapshot (and may be from the attached ebuilds): - xcb flag has been added - number of "configure" options has been fixed (some were out of dated) - number of dependencies has been fixed
