there have been some updates to adobe-flash in the meantime the latest (stable) release (from today?) seems to be: 10.0.42.34 Reproducible: Always Actual Results: the in-tree portage-version is 10.0.32.18 Expected Results: in a few days it should be updated to a newer version, namely 10.0.42.34
I'd like to echo support for this bug. As per Adobe ( http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/64bit.html ) "Furthering Adobe's commitment to the Linux community and as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player, an alpha refresh of 64-bit Adobe Flash Player 10 for Linux operating systems was released on December 8, 2009 and is available for download. This offers easier, native installation on 64-bit Linux distributions and removes the need for 32-bit emulation." This is a welcome update to the tired 64 bit flash support and coincides nicely with the Chrome beta.
Thanks for the heads-up, it's now in the tree! (In reply to comment #1) > This is a welcome update to the tired 64 bit flash support and coincides nicely > with the Chrome beta. Actually, native 64-bit support has been in there, and in our tree, since 10.0.32.18... And even a little bit before that!
