Description Sebastiaan 2009-12-08 12:50:42 UTC
When I installed icaclient-11.0-r2 on a fresh system, it did not want to work. It failed with:

/opt/ICAClient $ wfica ~/Downloads/launch.ica
Error: 32 (E_XERROR)
Please refer to the documentation.
Exiting.

It worked however without problems on another (matured) Gentoo system. It turned out that icaclient depends on these fonts:

media-fonts/font-xfree86-type1
media-fonts/font-misc-ethiopic

I have no idea why it needs ethiopic fonts, but it will not work without them.

Additionally, on amd64, you need nspluginwrapper for the plugin to work in the browsers.

Reproducible: Always

Those are new, before it worked without the fonts. Must have to do with the X.org server upgrades in the last couple of months. Anyway. Thanks for spotting this, it is fixed now in CVS.
