New version of ESS announced a few days ago (see https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/ess-help/2009-December/005736.html ). Bumped locally and seems to be working fine so far (daily usage, nothing special tested). Reproducible: Always
Thanks.

(In reply to comment #1) > Thanks. > Not a problem (and sorry for the duplication). It seems however there is a bug in 5.6 that has been resolved with the release of 5.7 today (also adds features for M$-windoze, but obviously not that relevant for Gentoo). See https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/ess-help/2009-December/005738.html

Sorry about this, I shall hold back a week or so in future after seeing announcements and make sure things have settled down upstream before reporting a version bump here.
Bumped to 5.7.1. (In reply to comment #5) > Sorry about this, I shall hold back a week or so in future after seeing > announcements and make sure things have settled down upstream before reporting > a version bump here. No problem at all. Mistakes happen.
