Description Alok Singhal 2003-09-25 10:38:52 UTC
Mozilla needs "--enable-ctl" to be able to display Devanagari and Thai text. The mozilla ebuilds don't enable ctl by default. I tried adding "--enable-ctl" to the ebuild, but it fails with the following message:

<pre>
checking LIBIDL_LIBS... -lIDL-2 -lglib-2.0
configure: error: Cannot build ctl without gmodule support in glib.

!!! ERROR: net-www/mozilla-1.4-r4 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 358, Exitcode 1
!!! (no error message)
</pre>

I don't know how to get gmodule support in glib.

Maybe we could have another USE flag, something like mozctl.
