On Gnome environment for some time I'm using chmsee to view chm files, I've replaced gnochm with it. gnochm is not maintained, it crashes very frequently on some documents, so I think that chmsee should be present in portage (it is available in gentoo-chaina overlay)
Probably better CC actual maintainer of gnochm.
the next version will use webkit, so i'd like to wait until it's released.
1.1.0_rc1 finally compiles fine. Still uses Gecko, are you sure this will change.
I have asked one of the developers about webkit support/replacement a month ago. The answer was, that there are no plans to do so, and if webkit will be more popular, it will probably be supported optionally....
hmm, not sure where i got that idea from then :)
if someone wants to write an ebuild for bugday i'd be happy to review it

thanks. why the mirror RESTRICT?
(In reply to comment #10) > thanks. why the mirror RESTRICT? > Hi Ryan, there is, as you think, absolutely no need for mirror restrict. It's so, that I was using (still using) this ebuilds, already for a long time in my local overlay. chmsee 1.0.7 works with xulrunner 1.8 (ff 2.0), 1.9.0 and 1.9.1 (which correspond to ff 3.5.8). I am not so sure about last one, forgot already, but it for sure does not work with 1.9.2. I assume, that it also will work with xulrunner-bin (not tested) so, someone should fix/correct this ebuild :-) chmsee 1.1.0 should work with xulrunner >= 1.9.2 (I have only tested with == 1.9.2, that is with ff 3.6.3)
chmsee-1.1.0 added to the tree. thanks guys.
