kernel 2.6.32 is out, there is a gentoo-sources for it now, any chance on seeing that same kernel version with tuxonice ability on it soon in portage?

Upstream hasn't released yet a stable version of their patch for 2.6.32 series. A development patch is available here :

according to that page, there isn't a stable patch for 2.6.31 and there is a version in portage

i compiled and installed the ebuild attached to bug 295873. working good so far, i got my KMS kernel video= parameter now.

There's been stable 3.1 patch released on 15th march for all kernels since 2.6.28 to 2.6.33.

Any chance for this: http://www.tuxonice.net/downloads/all/tuxonice-3.1-for-2.6.33.patch.bz2 to be pulled into portage soon?

Please do not resurrect old bugs -- instead file a new one. I'm migrating from old laptop to new one and I'll need some time before I have usable machine.
