I can't reproduce it with git 1.6.4.4. It also looks like it can't create a connection to git://git.overlays.gentoo.org/dev/anarchy so perhaps there's a firewall or something that prevents you from connecting to it. Can you manually run '/usr/bin/git clone "git://git.overlays.gentoo.org/dev/anarchy" "/usr/local/layman/anarchy"'?
Ther were some issues with overlays.g.o recently so please try again.
I'm sure it was a temporary problem with our overlays so I'll close this bug.
