Yakuake is a quake-style terminal. It is typically used by pressing a globally available shortcut (e.g. F12), upon pressing the shortcut key yakuake will appear at the top of the screen. If yakuake is installed and kglobalaccel is not, the shortcut will only work if yakuake has mouse focus. As yakuake is invisible most of the time, yakuake cannot be used then. (Yakuake can also be configured to appear when the mouse reaches the top edge of the screen, but I still think a major feature is missing if the shortcut doesn't work.) Therefore, I request to make kde-misc/yakuake depend on kde-base/kglobalaccel. Then yakuake's shortcut will also work if it doesn't have mouse focus (e.g. when it is hidden). If you do "emerge yakuake" and no other KDE packages are installed, kglobalaccel will not be emerged automatically. Regards, Milan Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. System with no KDE packages. 2. "emerge yakuake" 3. Try to use yakuake shortcuts while yakuake is hidden. Actual Results: Shortcut doesn't work, yakuake doesn't appear. Expected Results: Shortcuts should work.
Users are required to merge kdebase-startkde if they want working environment, and we already have prepared proper implementation for kdebase-runtime metapackage that will be dependency everywhere. Will get to main tree with kde-4.3.4
