Mutt reports new mail in every mailbox all the time. When viewing another
mailbox, c always open my primary inbox.

resolved by compiling mutt with --enable-buffy-size:

could you please explain the problem in some more depth? I'm a longtime mutt
user and i've never run across this problem.
