When i emerge -av xmpp4r, it installs files with -rw------- and -rwx------ rights. I have to manually chmod them to use. Upstream fixed that in their gem, but did not release a new version and only uploaded it to rubyforge, but not their GNA site. SRC_URI in the ebuild now points to rubyforge, additionally I forced the correct gem to the mirrors. It should be there in ~4 hours. Hopefully that resolves this issue, if not reopen the bug please. ty.
