Hi there, is there anyone maintaining www-apache/mod_fcgid ? 2.2-x versions tend to ruin some apache installations (specifically when using suexec) and 2.3.4 has already been out for a while and has proven usuable (even when hand-compiled) I'll probably write an ebuild soon (but fcgid guys pretty much simplified the installation to ./configure|make|install, so I guess that using a generic one shouldnt hurt.) side question: is there some reason I missed that could explain why fcgid-2.3.4 isn't in portage yet? well, that ebuild is what works for me now. changes since 2.2: - sourceforge doesnt host the files now, if you happen to find the package somewhere else please fix the SRC_URI - build system simplified other reqs: - cp -r files/2.2 files/2.3.4
