See hardened/ppc/package.mask and hardened/linux/powerpc/package.mask. If you look at the pulseaudio's Changelog you can see why that happened. As things moved on this masking was no longer necessary and the mask has been removed from the other profiles, but not from the powerpc hardened ones. I've updated the two package.mask files.
