Description Robert Lewis 2009-11-12 05:48:47 UTC
Been like this for a couple days. Trying to install gentoo amd64. I downloaded the latest 'current-stage3' for amd64, mounted, extracted, changed my make.conf to ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64". I pasted a build log and emerge --info below. Let me know if more information is needed.

End of build log:

Looking into this, i found another person who had the problem:
http://www.sysresccd.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2724

Calling 'unset path' before i compile glib seems to solve the issue.

At this point, I am not sure if this is related to the fact i am installing from sysrescuecd, and not 'offical' gentoo media.

if you haven't sourced the gentoo env like described in the install guide, then it is most likely the issue indeed. Please reopen if this is not the case.
