Upgrade from app-text/kbibtex-0.2.1 to app-text/kbibtex-0_p95 results in a program that compiles and runs, but has no functionality!  I consider kbibtex to be *essential* and should not be removed from the tree.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u kbibtex
2. run kbibtex
3. open existing .bib file
4. blank panes in window
