You will need to provide a copy of /var/tmp/portage/net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.0.14/temp/000_flex-configure-LANG.patch-19890.out
 I have just rechecked armin76's work and it all applies fine and build just fine.

hi,

eix-sync ; emerge -d net-libs/xulrunner
[ebuild  N    ] net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.1.4  USE="alsa dbus gnome python startup-notification -custom-optimization -debug -java -sqlite"

same problem as below.

Failed Patch: 000_flex-configure-LANG.patch!

check /var/tmp/portage/net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.1.4/temp
find out a file -> autoconf-5046.out

I think root cause is this one.

#> cat autoconf-5046.out
......... [SKIP] ...........
/usr/bin/autoconf-2.13: line 153: /usr/bin/mawk: Permission denied

After I "emerge mawk" then below command is working.

#> emerge xulrunner

thank for your help.

I have keep there ebuild logs if you need that I can upload.
