Description Martin Mokrejš 2009-11-06 18:42:48 UTC
Please add a USE=session flag to enable "--enable-sessions" configure flag.
Similarly, add one for --enable-nested-tables or make it enabled in the ebuild (preferred).
Comment 1 Martin Mokrejš 2009-11-06 18:54:33 UTC
Needless to say the nested-tables support is much better implemented in links(1) browser. :(
Comment 2 Wormo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-12 07:04:21 UTC
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll take a look at both options when I get a chance (probably not real soon, got a few bugs to fix first...)
Comment 3 Thomas Dickey 2009-12-22 10:13:48 UTC
2.8.2dev.2 enables sessions by default...
Comment 4 Wormo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-11 07:04:09 UTC
Thanks Thomas -- 2.8.8dev.2 looks good here, and is now in the tree with sessions enabled. Do you have an opinion on whether nested-tables support is stable enough to also just be enabled, or if there should be a USE flag for the user to choose?
Comment 5 Thomas Dickey 2010-01-11 10:03:38 UTC
As far as I recall, there's nothing in it that would break.
(The file-format isn't particularly elegant, but that's
a different issue). So it should be safe to just enable
all the time.

Thanks again. Nested tables are always enabled now, and in my tests rendering does look at least as good as without (normally better).
