Just sharing a fix I have for parallell builds.

sed -i -e 's/^all-local:.*/all-local: $(LTLIBRARIES)/' \
                src/dynamic-preprocessors/*/Makefile.am || return 1

and run the autotools stuff...

Should put the horses on your 8 core boxes back to work again.

I'm not really a gentoo user anymore so take it or leave it.
