Filezilla will not compile because it's looking for wx-config. I think the problem is it's looking for wx-config but eselect does not create this file to link to /usr/bin/wx-config-2.8.

Is there anything interesting in config.log ? Does eselect confirm they are selected ?
Created attachment 209015 [details] config.log
It was initially not selected by default when I checked in eselect. I then set it in eselect and reran emerge. The same problem existed after that.
What does 'ls -l 'which wx-config` print ? Same for 'equery b 'which wx-config`' After you've selected the version, that file was created, right ?
(In reply to comment #6) > What does 'ls -l 'which wx-config` print ? > Same for 'equery b 'which wx-config`' > After you've selected the version, that file was created, right ? > which wx-config which: no wx-config in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/lib/distcc/bin:/usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.3.4:/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/bin:/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/jre/bin:/usr/kde/3.5/bin:/usr/qt/3/bin) eselect wxwidgets list Available wxWidgets profiles: [1] gtk2-unicode-release-2.8 * It appears this bug might be arch specific. I'm having this problem on amd64 but on x86 the wx-config exists and filezilla installs.
Does either 'eselect wxwidgets set 1' or reemerging eselect-wxwidgets help ?
Reemerging eselect-wxwidgets and setting wxwidgets again fixed the problem.
