the ebuild for sys-libs/db-4.8.24 bails out on OS X, possibly on other systems too, because it does not check for glibtoolize... only libtoolize. I have a patch which allows systems using glibtoolize to build correctly.

I can confirm both the error and that the patch is working for me (OS X).

ah, the AIX fix that was introduced broke it, fixed now, thanks
