For several months now, I've been unable to sync my Address Bood with Evolution;
it keeps crashing with some uninformative error message. I patch was released on
the gnome-pilot mailing list by the developer on Aug 12. Can we get this patch
included in the gnome-pilot ebuild? Thanks.

this patch should be in evo-1.4.5 that is in portage.
