After some time (5 to 20 mins) that I'm playing with penguin-command, everything freezes and the only solution is to press ctrl+alt+backspace. My configuration: Athlon XP 2400+ 512Mb RAM GeForce 4 MX440 Asus A7S333 I'm using NVidia accelerated drivers and the most up-to-date gentoo packages (without ~x86), as well as linux-2.4.22-vanilla. I don't use XDM. All other opengl games work well.
