When using both mod_auth_mysql and mod_dbd with DBDriver mysql apache2 -t segfaults during shutdown. After consulting the dev-apr mailing list I found out that the problem was that dev-libs/apr-util linked the mysql backend to libmysqlclient_r and www-apache/mod_auth_mysql links agains libmysqlclient.
