Description Andrey Kislyuk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-28 20:58:59 UTC
Please stabilize sci-biology/vaal-1.2.
Note: Because of the complexity of science package testing, a compile test is sufficient from the arch teams
Comment 1 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-10-31 13:57:33 UTC
needs newer boost, I guess this has to wait a bit:

# emerge -1av =sci-biology/vaal-1.2

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-libs/boost-1.37.0" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-libs/boost-1.40.0 (masked by: package.mask, ~amd64 keyword)
/usr/portage/profiles/package.mask:
# Dirkjan Ochtman <djc@gentoo.org> (21 Oct 2009)
# Needs some more testing before unleashing on the masses.

- dev-libs/boost-1.39.0 (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)
- dev-libs/boost-1.37.0-r1 (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)

I think that this should be closed as LATER until needed boost is near its stabilization, do you agree?
Comment 3 Richard Freeman gentoo-dev 2009-12-20 15:11:11 UTC
agreed - otherwise I'll keep looking at this... :) Or I'll stop looking at it and it will never go stable...
Comment 4 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2009-12-20 19:14:20 UTC
OK, thanks :-)
