If you install pango without corefonts, mozilla-firefox-bin will crash at startup. Also, other gnome-apps (like bluez-gnome) will display squares instead of letters. Installing corefonts fixes both issues. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. on a freshly installed box, install mozilla-firefox-bin or some gnome app like bluez-gnome 2. try to start it : firefox will crash, gnome apps will display empty squares instead of fonts I tag it as 'critical' because firefox will crash ("The software crashes, hangs or causes you to lose data").

Well, the bad part is that firefox does crash, but also if you use a gnome application like bluez-gnome your fonts are unreadable, so it's maybe something about gnome anyway?
