Description Klaus Prasse 2003-09-19 02:32:29 UTC
I try to install php (emerge -k php) and get the following error:

!!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match)
>>> our recorded digest:  ...
>>> your file's digest: :: [different value as shown under our recorded ..]
!!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//pdf.c

Does this error result from a damaged software packet? Is there any possibility
for me to solve this problem?

Thanks for any tip which solves this problem.

you've given me absolutely no real details here.
delete /usr/portage/distfiles/pdf.c and emerge again.
if it still fails, specify the mirror that pdf.c was downloaded from, and show both of the digest values.
