Comment 3 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-30 13:35:55 UTC
Make sure you have python 2.6 selected (probably a good idea to remove 2.4) and run python-updater.
Comment 4 Premek Vohnout 2009-10-30 21:45:16 UTC
I have 2.4 only because zope and I have in make.conf USE_PYTHON="2.4 2.6" and everything is running mainly on 2.6
Comment 5 Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2010-03-14 13:28:17 UTC
Does this problem still exist in newer versions like hplip-3.9.12-r1 which is now latest stable or hplip-3.10.2?
Comment 6 Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2010-06-12 20:58:28 UTC
Please report here is this problem still persists with newer versions.
