I tried to compile =sci-chemistry/tinker-5.0 from science overlay but got a "digest mismatch" message. The source archive had been downloaded from developers' site. Then I found out that versioning convention of tinker is a bit confusing. Apart from a major revision (5.0 at the moment) there's also a "minor revision" defined by date (currently Aug. 14, 2009). So I suggest to change the ebuild naming scheme to <major_version>-r<minor_version_date> like 5.0-r20090814. Ebuild for latest version is attached. Changes in the ebuild include: 1. Currently unused "X" use flag has been removed; 2. Fetch restriction "nomirror" has been added according to above note; 3. Build section was slightly modified to compile with the new version.
