Initially I thought it's something caused by me, but after that I updated some more machines and the gnucash on all of them (x86 and amd64 gentoo testing installations) broke up. All of them had gnucash installed more than a month ago and I am sure gnucash worked fine till about a week ago. So it got broken by some other update during the last week. All these broken systems are up-to-date (emerge -uDNav world) and revdep-rebuild does not find any broken libraries. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Gnucash 2. It fails to start. How about using 'qlop -l' (from app-portage/portage-utils) to show which packages have been updated since the last time you saw gnucash working properly?
Gnucash now works, after updating to gtk+ 2.18.3 that came out today.
Possibly gtk+ needed to be recompiled because of some other update.
