Comment 1 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-23 08:58:20 UTC
And with *stable* kmail, which is 4.3.1-r1?
Comment 2 Markus Goppelt 2009-10-23 19:25:34 UTC
Which is not in portage any more:
http://packages.gentoo.org/category/kde-base?full_cat
How can I get it?
Comment 3 Markus Goppelt 2009-10-23 20:11:44 UTC
Whoops, I read 3.3.1-r1.
I don't want to use 4.whatever. 3.5.10 is also stable.

... and unsupported.
Comment 5 Ole Langbehn 2010-02-06 23:01:56 UTC
For a patch, see:

Comment 6 Ole Langbehn 2010-02-07 10:12:40 UTC
FYI, I had to wrap the whole destructor in a check for existing d.

Working (hacky) patch fixing the crash

The patch from the link does not fix the problem for me, this patch is quite hacky, but solves the problem for me. No memory leakage or other effects are notable, even with an uptime of several weeks and heavy use.
