After unsuccesfully trying to compile the latest eclipse, I adapted a old ebuild and happily installed the binary package of eclipse galileo 3.5.1, Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.add the provided ebuild to the tree 2.emerge -1 eclipse-sdk-bin 3.enjoy developing with the latest sdk

Not a duplicate of bug 275375 as this one refers to the eclipse-sdk-bin package, while that one is about the source package. Different packages, different bugs, or am I mistaken?
This counts as new package, since since packages has been removed several years ago.

To succesfully emerge the package you'll also need a pair of files you can borrow from the source eclpse 3.5 bug. As soon as I have some time I'll post an archive with all that's needed.. Int
We will not be adding a bin eclipse package to the tree. Thanks for the work. The source based package has progressed very well and will be in the tree shortly. I suggest you use that. Closing WONTFIX but essentually its also a dup.
