The sparc64-1.4 default profile for gentoo has the apm USE flag masked, yet it's
default in the profile.
This breaks gnome-applets-2.4 since it has a use for the apm flag, since it's
impossible to get apmd running on sparc.

Workaround: USE="-apm" in /etc/make.conf

Removed apm from make.defaults

Also adjusted default-sparc-1.4 profile
