As stated in the summary, x86 is stable for farsight, but not for one of its dependencies: libnice. Should just be a matter of changing farsight or libnice. I suspect libnice is the better option since other stable apps depend on the stable version of farsight. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -u pidgin (which requires farsight) 2. 3. Actual Results: !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=net-libs/libnice-0.0.9[gstreamer]" have been masked. !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: - net-libs/libnice-0.0.9 (masked by: ~x86 keyword) For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook. (dependency required by "net-libs/farsight2-0.0.14" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "net-im/pidgin-2.6.3" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "pidgin" [argument]) Expected Results: A normal install.
should be fixed, please resync in an hour or two. 19 Oct 2009; Markus Meier <maekke@gentoo.org> libnice-0.0.9.ebuild: x86 stable, bug #289298
