Does this problem occur also with dev-python/imaging-1.1.6?
No, but that doesn't have a test suite, it seems: >>> Source compiled. >>> Test phase [none]: dev-python/imaging-1.1.6 >>> Install imaging-1.1.6 into /var/tmp/portage/dev-python/imaging-1.1.6/image/ category dev-python
(In reply to comment #3) I have added src_test() to dev-python/imaging-1.1.6, so that you can check if this problem is a regression.
-r0 fails in exactly the same way. Want us to investigate or ignore and stabilize?
(In reply to comment #5) > -r0 fails in exactly the same way. Want us to investigate or ignore and > stabilize? Please stabilize 1.1.6-r1, but leave this bug open.
Can you check if 1.1.7 does better?
I can neither find 1.1.7 in portage nor at the two URLs mentioned for the package. Where can I get it?
Ah, sorry. I *just* put it into the tree, so you might have to get it from CVS.
I've now thrown pretty much all the test I have (and those the package comes with) at 1.1.7, all of them pass without so much as a warning. I recommend stabilizing it in 30 days (or earlier, your call).
(In reply to comment #10) > all of them pass OK. I'm closing this bug.
