Description Alexander Jenisch 2003-09-16 15:37:58 UTC
i'm using an epson stylus C82 and the cups+epson drivers. it works very well,
but there's that little annoyance, that i have to restart cupsd and ekpd every
time, i want to print after a reboot. the problem is simply, that ekpd is loaded
before cupsd and it has to be the other way round. license seems ok (can be
found here: http://www.epkowa.co.jp/english/linux_e/DL1_ink_e.html). so a little
ebuild and a fixed startup script, would be great :).

if you attach an ebuild i'll add it :)
Comment 2 Alexander Jenisch 2003-09-17 09:52:27 UTC
never made an ebuild before... so maybe it's time. i'll look into it :).

what's the status of this?
Comment 4 Alexander Jenisch 2004-02-18 10:10:29 UTC
no change so far. not tried the drivers for some time, because they will break everytime another cups/ghostscript/whateverprintingstuffyouwant is comming out. this is very annyoing, so i decided to stick with gimp-print drivers.

i'll mark it LATER then, if you have an ebuild attach it and REOPEN
